Beni Salzberg was born and raised in Jerusalem, when it was still a divided city. As a teenager, he spent most of his time walking through the alleys and stairways of the old city, getting to know its hidden gems in and out.

Following his military service, Beni worked 3 years at the Ein Gedi Field School, leading hiking tours all over the Judean Desert. Later, during his studies at the Technion in Haifa, he was involved in publishing hiking maps for various areas in Israel (Judean Desert, Upper Galilee, Golan Heights). After graduating, Beni spent more than 20 years in the High-tech industry, during which he lived in Israel (Haifa), USA (Houston, TX) and Germany (Munich). 

Nowadays Beni works as a Tour Guide (English, German, Hebrew), sharing his proficiency in Judaism and Christianity, knowledge of the country and photographer skills with tourists and colleagues alike. Beni offers tailor-made tours for visitors from the academic and business worlds, as well as for independent travellers.  Tours can be arranged for individuals or groups.
